We require an Underground Trainer & Assessor for a site located 540km north-west of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory's remote Tanami Desert. This site offers a fully equipped village, pool, gym, bar & dining room. An owner operated site gives you a stable and secure workplace. No longer do you need to work for a contractor. They can fly you from a point of hire of Perth, Darwin or Alice Springs.
Duties:
In the role of Underground Trainer and Assessor you will:
Train and Assess the underground workforce
Assist with Training and Assessment of surface operators
Assist with the review of UG training resources
Assist and coach the on the job trainers in their roles
Coordinate assessments
Work with contractor training personal to ensure consistency and co-operation in training activities across the operation
Requirements:
The successful applicant will have at least 3 years experience in the mining industry preferably with in a Training and Development role. You will hold a Certificate IV Workforce Trainer and Assessor and have Intermediate computer skills.
